Get answers to common questions about Lash Lift.
A Lash Lift is a perming treatment that lifts and curls natural lashes using gentle solutions and silicone pads. A trained technician shapes lashes at the root, enhancing length and volume appearance. Effects are chemical-based but safe when done professionally, lasting up to eight weeks.
When performed by a certified technician using proper timing and formulas, Lash Lifts pose minimal long-term risk. Over-processing or repeated treatments without adequate care can weaken lashes. We assess lash health before service and recommend appropriate spacing and aftercare to protect lashes.
Appointments typically take 45 to 60 minutes including consultation and aftercare guidance. Timing varies depending on lash length and desired lift intensity. Allow extra time for tinting if you choose to combine services for a more dramatic, mascara-free finish.
Avoid mascara and water contact for the first 24 hours to allow the lift to set. After that, water-resistant mascaras are fine, but many clients skip mascara entirely because the lift provides curl and definition.
Ideal candidates have healthy, straight to mildly curled natural lashes seeking a low-maintenance lift and open-eyed look. Not suitable for severely sparse or damaged lashes, active eye infections, or recent eyelid surgery. We perform a consultation to ensure safety and desired results.
For best results, avoid water, steam, and eye rubbing for the first 24 hours. Skip oil-based cleansers and makeup removers, avoid mechanical curlers, and gently comb lashes with a clean spoolie. Follow-up tinting or appointments should be spaced per technician recommendations.
